DiskMonitor is a powerful tool that enables systems administrators to centrally monitor disk drives. It automatically enumerates available networks and allows you to select disks to monitor and shares to iterate (admin access required). Critical and warning thresholds can be set. When the thresholds are crossed, it can send a detailed message, a PDA friendly message, or a user defined email message to any set of users.
Latest changes:
- The query disks dialog now uses a background thread pool that enables users to cancel out of the dialog prior to completion
- The Directory Monitor Wizard menu item is now enabled when ever the user selects a directory. If the directoryââ¬â¢s disk is not currently being monitored a message box now displays prompting the user to configure the disk for monitoring
- In previous builds the help displayed an empty page when the user pressed F1 from within the Directory Monitor Wizard. This bug has been fixed
- The update software schedule incorrectly defaulted to once a day rather than once a week. This bug has been fixed
