FeedMonster is an RSS and Atom feed reader written on top of Microsoft's .NET platform. RSS, which stands for Rich Site Summary, is a family of document types for listing updates to a particular web site. For instance, you could use RSS or Atom to track updates to your favorite website or blog.

- Added: Support for RSS 1.0; Has been a long time in the making but is now finally finished
- New: Template Switcher; FeedMonster is now able to handle more than one template. Users can now select from a variety of templates with all of them being made by the maker of the new template from Beta 2
- New: Basic Newsgator Syncronization; FeedMonster now allows you to sync your feeds with Newsgator's online reader
- Changed: Revamped Options dialog; The options dialog from previous versions has been overhaul/simplified
- New: Automated Update Service; Can be set to notify you when new updates, or new versions of FeedMonster are available
- Fixed: Minor bug with web browser; A bug in the web browser ment that you had to open a tab manually before trying to visit a site
- New: Logo; A new logo will be introduced with this release
- New: Minor additions to template engine, and User Interface
- Fixed: Several Major feed incompatiblity errors; One line of code in FeedMonster's feed parser was blocking correct parsing and loading of several feeds. This code has been removed
- New: Error Logging System; To prevent a steady stream of message boxes when an error occurs, all FeedMonster errors are logged to the file "fmdebug.log"
