IP-Tools consists of 15 network utilities that offer a large variety of network administration and monitoring services. Utilities include: Local Info, Connection Monitor, NetBIOS Scanner, Shared resources scanner, HostName Scanner, Port Scanner, Ping Scanner, Trace, NS LookUp, Finger, WhoIs, Get Time, Telnet client, IP-Monitor, and Host Monitor. All information program can be saved to log files. HostMonitor can show messages, play sound, send e-mail, and execute external programs. All this is available from an attractive tabbed interface you'll find easy to negotiate. Other features include multi-threaded operation, audio support, custom appearance, and system tray support.
Latest changes:
- Connection Monitor could display process name and ID for each TCP/UDP socket when IP-Tools was started on Windows 2000 and XP. Now this option supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 as well
- Connection Monitor may display connection list for IPv4 and/or IPv6 protocols
- Ping Scanner offers "Continuous testing" option
- SNMP Scanner utility shows data received from SNMP agent in more readable format
- WhoIs utility uses updated list of servers
- Minor GUI improvements
