GeniusConnect turns Outlook into a more powerful information management tool through database connectivity. It can be used with any of the most commonly used database systems. It will synchronize Outlook data with any relational database that supports ODBC (MS Access, mySQL, MS SQL Server, Oraclem, etc.) An Outlook folder can be linked to a database table. You can use your own table structure and define conversions for columns with data type's that are not compatible with an Outlook field. It is possible to use it on multiple Outlook or Exchange folders and multiple databases. 2 way sync and attachments are also supported.
Latest changes:
- New info message when deleted record cannot be deleted from the folder
- Refresh data in an user form/dialog (Outlook item open in a form/dialog and changed by GeniusConnect during a sync)
- SQL Server example scripts updated to SQL Server 2000 syntax (from SQL Server 2005 syntax)
- Outlook 2000 only: errors after import of folder settings from higher versions of Outlook
- SQL Server only: Error when using insert/update stored procedures with a blob/image field
- Exchange 2003 only: primary key values deleted from Outlook item custom MAPI fields after Load from DB
