Uranium Backup is one of the simplest and most versatile TAPE backup software in the world, compatible practically with any tape drive and with the most used kinds of tape formats: DAT, DDS, DLT, SDLT, AIT, VXA, LTO, etc..Uranium can make also backups to DVD or CD (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Double Layer). It can also create multisession disks and iso files.
Latest changes:
- SQL Server: dynamic backup of all databases with a single item (the program detect each time what databases are present)
- FTP: possibility to limit bandwidth in upload and download (you can set the speed in KB/s)
- Possibility to create root directory with a custom name and with a progressive number, for local and ftp destinations
- Officially tested the full compatibility with Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008
- Fixed Bugs
