Caretaker Antispam for Exchange Server is a server-based antispam solution for Microsoft Exchange Server / Small Business Server. The server-based solution integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Exchange Server / Small Business Server protecting your users from spam, phishing attacks and malware in email messages. System administrators do not need to install software on workstations or mobile appliances and do not need to maintain the filter. Users do not need to configure anything, the filter doesn't need training and the software updates itself automatically without downtime of your server.

Latest changes:

  • Added SurfRight LinkAdvice. This real time online database automatically learns and contains:
  • Spam domains set up by spammers
  • Trusted domains abused in spam runs
  • URLs that contain malware
  • URLs that are used for phishing
  • PhishTank information
  • Added SurfRight PE Analysis (heuristics) to proactively isolate unknown malware (viruses, trojans, worms, spyware):
  • Entropy analysis - high entropy is common in deliberately compressed/encrypted malware
  • Anomalies, common found in malware
  • Intention Analysis now follows (auto) redirected links (like HTML refresh redirect code that link to suspicious executables, malware or spam domains; uses LinkAdvice)
  • Intention Analysis now downloads suspicious files for analysis (using Prevx Herd Intelligence and SurfRight PE Analysis) and shares the result with other Caretakers through SurfRight LinkAdvice
  • Several small internal modifications to speed up mail classification
  • Updated Bayesian databases
