GFI MailEssentials for Exchange/SMTP is a server based anti spam & email management solution for Microsoft Exchange Server & Notes/SMTP servers. Spam is caught before the mail server, no need to deploy client software. Its advanced Spam detection technology is based on: Content checking of body and subject for spam keywords, checking mail headers for typical spam practices, and checking if the sending mail server is on a third party black list such as ORDB. Admins can also set-up their own blacklists, as well as reduce false positives using the automatic whitelist feature.
Latest changes:
- SpamRazer engine. A new OEM anti-spam engine has been added to the GFI MailEssentials spam filters to further improve spam capture rate & ability to block new trends of spam
- Quick Look Dashboard. A new dashboard application has been added to GFI MailEssentials, which provides improved processing logs & visual indicators of email processing and spam capture
- Directory Harvesting running in SMTP protocol sink. Directory Harvesting can now be set to run at SMTP procotol level, allowing blocking of spam before its content is downloaded
- Spam Email Digest. A daily\weekly\monthly report can be sent by email to administrators and individual recipients which would include a summary of spam received
